White March In Tribute To Shemseddine - Viry-Chatillon
Mayor of Viry-Chatillon Jean-Marie Vilain answers journalists' questions during a commemorative 'Marche Blanche' (White March) in tribute to 15-year-old Shemseddine, who died after being beaten as he left school, in Viry-Chatillon, on April 12, 2024. Somme 200 people gathered for the march a week after Shemseddine was beaten by a group, including two brothers, in a dispute linked to their younger sister on "subjects relating to sexuality", according to the Evry prosecutor.
