STORYLINE:
The Swedish economy is expected to remain sluggish with rising unemployment, the government said when presenting its spring amendment budget on Monday.
The economy is expected to remain slow until 2025 with the gross domestic product expected to grow by 0.7 percent this year and 2.5 percent in 2025, the government said in a press release.
Meanwhile, unemployment is expected to climb up from 7.7 percent in 2023 to 8.3 percent this year, the press release said.
