(240421) -- COLOMBO, April 21, 2024 (Xinhua) -- Maldivians living in Sri Lanka cast their vote at the Maldives Embassy in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on April 21, 2024. Voting in the Maldives' parliamentary election began on Sunday morning after the opening of polling stations across the country and overseas. The South Asian country has set up 602 polling stations across the constituencies, while three are stationed overseas in Colombo in Sri Lanka, Trivandrum in India, and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
