Bangladeshi Garments Workers Protest - Dhaka

RMG workers of Danys Knitwear Ltd. Gather in a protest in front of the National Press Club demanding implementation of the tripartite agreement signed on April 25 and immediate reopening of their factory, in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on May 11, 2024. Workers of the Danys Knitwear Ltd said that the factory owner illegally shut the factory to cheat workers. Bangladesh Garment and Sweaters Workers Trade Union Centre general secretary KM Ruhul Amin said that the factory was yet to implement the new wage scale declared in December.
