STORYLINE:
Tanorn village, once poor and isolated in the Bati district of Cambodia's Takeo province, has undergone tremendous changes under a China-aided poverty alleviation project.
Situated roughly 60 km south of the country's capital of Phnom Penh, the village has a total area of 72 hectares and is currently home to 132 households with more than 600 people.
Launched in January 2021, the Cambodia-China Friendship Village for Poverty Alleviation Project has been turning Tanorn village into a modern one with we
