Oriental Magpie-robin (Copsychus Saularis) - Animal India
A wild Oriental magpie-robin (Copsychus saularis) bathes in water that has accumulated on a roof due to a sudden downpour. The bird is joyfully splashing water with its wings on a hot noon. Known in India as 'dhyal' or 'dhayal', the Oriental magpie-robin is a small passerine bird that belongs to the Old World flycatcher family. It is found in the Indian subcontinent and parts of Southeast Asia. These birds have a good repertoire of melodious calls and are known for their ability to imitate other bird calls.
