Students' Strike In Kamionka In Krakow
Students from OZZ Inicjatywa Pracownicza are sitting in at the closed 'Kamionka' UJ dormitory, demanding the dormitory be put back into use in Krakow, Poland, on May 20, 2024. On May 17, 2024, students from OZZ Inicjatywa Pracownicza are starting a sit-in strike, occupying the closed 'Kamionka' dormitory belonging to the Jagiellonian University. The protesters are demanding that the dormitory be renovated and put back into use. They are drawing attention to the very high prices of renting apartments in Krakow, which, combined with the lack of places in dormitories, are making it impossible for people to study.
