Powerful storms blasted Kansas on Sunday, May 19, bringing damaging winds, large hail, and possible tornadoes.
A derecho produced the storms that prompted tornado, severe thunderstorm, and flash flood warnings and left a trail of damage such as downed trees, blocked roads and widespread power outages in parts of the state.
