New Yorkers from various ethnic backgrounds Sunday celebrated Asian and Pacific culture in the 3rd Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) Cultural and Heritage Parade in Midtown Manhattan.
Under the theme of "Unity is the Foundation of Peace," hundreds of participants from over 70 organizations showcased their unique cultural attractions on Sixth Avenue, a major thoroughfare in Manhattan.
Thousands of spectators from home and abroad had a glimpse of cultural elements from China, Indonesia, Vietnam and other countries.
