Amnesty International Mexico Presents Report "Persecuted: Criminalization Of Women Human Rights Defenders In Mexico"
Carmen Aristegui, a Mexican journalist, is presenting the latest Amnesty International report in Mexico City, Mexico, on ''Persecuted: Criminalization of Women Human Rights Defenders in Mexico,'' which documents the cases of lawyer Ana Lorena Delgadillo Perez, journalist Marcela Turati Munoz, and forensic anthropologist Mercedes Doretti, who are being subjected to improper investigation and espionage by the Mexican State for alleged crimes of organized crime and kidnapping for investigating the San Fernando Massacre, better known outside Mexico as the Tamaulipas Massacre, although other mass murders are being committed in that state.
