US: EF-1 Tornado Touches Down Near Iowa City

Another round of storms hit Iowa on Thursday night, May 23, through Friday morning after tornadoes caused significant damage earlier this week. The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-1 tornado touched down near Iowa City. Widespread power outages were reported across the state.
