Military parade in Oviedo on the occasion of the Armed Forces Day
Military groups on their arrival to the military parade on the occasion of the Armed Forces Day, May 25, 2024, in Oviedo, Asturias (Spain). The Principality of Asturias hosts today the celebration of the Armed Forces Day (DIFAS) 2024 with a central event in Oviedo presided by Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain. The event consists of a tribute to the flag and the fallen in a land parade. Six groups parade: Royal Guard, Marine Battalion, Air Squadron, Grouping of the UME and the Civil Guard, Grouping of the Prince Regiment, Mountain Sappers and Paratroopers and Grouping of the Legion and Regulars, closing the cavalry of the Royal Guard and the Sabre Squadron of the Civil Guard.
