Next year when she will be drafted, Ella plans to publicly refuse and use her refusal as a statement against the occupation. Ella thinks the war on Gaza is a disgusting display of the militarism and bloodlust embedded in Israeli culture. Serving the interest of money and capital and not the people. Ella believes that what’s happening in Gaza is a genocide and it is in the interest of Israeli’s and Palestinians to create a lasting and dynamic solution that achieves Palestinian sovereignty and autonomy.
