The Olympic Torch's Journey Through Calvados

French athlete Penelope Leprevost, a competitor in equestrian jumping, proudly carries the Olympic flame along the historic D-Day Omaha Beach in Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer, marking the commencement of the twentieth leg of its journey across France, in the Calvados department, in Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer, Normandy, France, on May 30, 2024.
The 20th Olympic Torch Relay's journey begins at the venerated site of remembrance, Omaha Beach and the D-Day landing beaches, before moving on to Lisieux.
