STORYLINE:
The Royal Palace in Amsterdam held a press preview on Wednesday for an exhibition, inviting visitors to discover the rich history and architectural splendor of the palace's roof.
This special exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to take a closer look at the artworks that are normally on the roof of the palace.
The artworks include the weather vane, the bronze statue of Prudentia, the copper imperial crown that has been removed from the roof for the first time since it was placed there in the 17th century, and 24 original bells from the palace carillon.
The artworks on the roof showcase both the history of Amsterdam and the craftsmanship of the 17th century.
The exhibition will be open to the public from June 29 to September 22.
