Hurricane Beryl – At Least 1 Dead After Making Landfall On Caribbean Island 3
Hurricane Beryl made landfall on Grenada’s Carriacou Island as a Category 4 storm with winds of 150 mph on Monday, July 1, shortly after 11:00 a.m., leaving a trail of devastation across the southeastern Caribbean.
Airports in Barbados, Grenada, and Saint Lucia were closed on Sunday night as Beryl approached.
