Japanese wins European inventor award
Japanese inventor and materials scientist Masato Sagawa, who created the world's most powerful permanent magnets crucial for various high-tech applications, holds a trophy after winning the European Inventor Award for non-member countries of the European Patent Office. Sagawa is an adviser to Japanese specialty steel manufacturer Daido Steel Co.
