Death Toll From Landslides Rises To 166 - India
Rescuers evacuate people after multiple landslides triggered by heavy rains in Kerala state, India, July 31, 2024. On Tuesday multiple landslides hit Kerala state's Wayanad district causing severe losses of life and property. So far 165 people have been declared dead in the landslides. The death toll from a series of landslides in Kerala has risen to 166 and almost 200 people are still missing as the southern Indian state reels from one of its worst disasters in years.
