Washington DC: Candlelight Vigil To Demand Justice In Bangladesh's Student Killings
The Bangladeshi community is holding a candlelight vigil on August 03, 2024, in the National Mall, Washington DC, USA, to support its student movement in their home country. They are condemning the government for killing innocent and underage students. From the vigil, they are also demanding the resignation of the current prime minister, Sheikh Hasina, who has been in power since 2009. Initially, the student movement started to reform the country's quota system for government jobs.
