A 19-year-old male is being shot and killed in Paterson, New Jersey, United States, on August 14, 2024. At approximately 2:02 a.m. on Wednesday morning, officers from the Paterson Police Department are being dispatched to the area of Market Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard in Paterson in response to a ShotSpotter activation. Upon their arrival, officers are discovering a 19-year-old male from Paterson with a gunshot wound lying on the sidewalk.
