High Voltage Pylons During Sunset Time
Summer sunset in Greece with electrical pylons near Thessaloniki city. High voltage electricity poles - towers during the sunset time and the magic hour. The metal towers with the cables seen as silhouettes in the sunset warm colours in the Greek countryside, distribute electric energy via the grid power lines for consumption from the power station where electricity is generated in coal productions facilities or sustainable renewable energy like solar panels and wind farms, across the country. During the summer Greece needs more electricity delivery as millions of tourists visit the country and specially during hot weather heatwave consumption is increased because of the widely usage of Air Conditioning units. The electrical wires, the grid and pillars or power pylons are seen as silhouettes in the colourful clear sky dusk and evening sky.
