Gigantic ring of 2025 World Expo
Japanese architect Sosuke Fujimoto speaks to the press on Sept. 13, 2024, after a ceremony marking the completion of part of the Great Ring, a gigantic wooden structure he designed to symbolize the 2025 World Exposition site in Osaka, western Japan. Held on an artificial island where the expo will take place, the ceremony celebrated a milestone ahead of the structure's full completion in February 2025, in time for the six-month world event's kickoff in April 2025.
