No-confidence motion against Hyogo governor adopted
Hyogo Gov. Motohiko Saito meets the press in Kobe, western Japan, on Sept. 19, 2024, after the prefectural assembly adopted a no-confidence motion against him over abuse of power allegations. The governor must either dissolve the assembly within 10 days or resign, or risk losing his position if he does neither.
