Theater workers protested on Toompea Hill
24.09.2024, Tallinn. Theater professionals gathered in front of the government building in Tallinn to protest cuts to the cultural sector and the freezing of the minimum wage for cultural workers. Gert Raudsep, head of the Estonian Theater Union, stated that for the first time, resentment has flared among the cultural community, as the state seems indifferent to the sector in both good times and bad.
