No-confidence motion against Hyogo governor adopted
KOBE, Japan, Sept. 19 Kyodo - Hyogo Gov. Motohiko Saito meets the press in Kobe, western Japan, on Sept. 19, 2024, after the prefectural assembly adopted a no-confidence motion against him over abuse of power allegations. The governor must either dissolve the assembly within 10 days or resign, or risk losing his position if he does neither. (Kyodo)
