Day Of The Dead Sugar Skulls Production
A member of the Flores family makes a traditional sugar skull (Calaverita de Azucar) that adorns the ofrendas as part of the Mexican Dia de Muertos traditions. The Flores family has been dedicated to this craft for more than 100 years, and every year prior to the Day of the Dead festivities, they dedicate time to sugar skull production in their workshop located in the Venustiano Carranza district in Mexico City, Mexico, on October 22, 2024.
