Railway Workers Strike - Paris
A TER (regional express train) from the Ile-de-France region runs on the tracks in the suburbs of Paris, France on October 17, 2024. Several railway unions have called a strike for Thursday November 21. The four SNCF unions-CGT-Cheminots, Unsa-Ferroviaire, SUD-Rail and CFDT-Cheminots-have called a strike to denounce the dismantling of Fret SNCF in order to avoid having to repay state aid that the European Commission considers illegal.
