US: Palisades Fire Forces Thousands To Evacuate As State Of Emergency Declared 15
A wildfire in California's Pacific Palisades spread rapidly due to Santa Ana winds on Tuesday, January 7, burning more than 2,900 acres, prompting nearly 30,000 people to evacuate, and causing several road closures.
Governor Gavin Newsom proclaimed a state of emergency to further support the communities impacted by this fire.
