US: Palisades Fire Forces Tens Of Thousands To Evacuate As State Of Emergency Declared 20
A wildfire in California's Pacific Palisades spread rapidly due to Santa Ana winds on Tuesday, January 7, burning more than 15,800 acres with zero containment, prompting thousands to evacuate. More than 1,000 structures were destroyed.
Governor Gavin Newsom proclaimed a state of emergency to further support the communities impacted by this fire.
