Baseball: Ichiro becomes 1st Asian elected to U.S. Hall of Fame

It was announced on Jan. 21, 2025, that Ichiro, who also played for the Seattle Mariners, had become the first Asian player elected to the U.S. National Baseball Hall of Fame.
