Elaeis guineensis from the Silk Road
Oil palm plantation farmers in Patumbak Satu Village, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, Indonesia, were observed selling their harvest directly to the conventional market. The implementation of internet awareness has facilitated the distribution of their plantation products through a system known as e-commerce. It's important to note that the oil palm (Elaeis guineensis) is not native to the tropical rainforest ecosystem; were originally comes from West and Central Africa addressing to the Siilk-road waves.
