Indonesias Diplomatic Push for Palestine Amid Protests in Medan
On April 11, 2025, Muslims as protesters marched around the main road in Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia. The Indonesian government is intensifying diplomatic and humanitarian efforts in the Middle East region, especially in responding to developments in the situation in Palestine. This is one of the main focuses of Indonesia's state visit of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, to several of countries in the region, including Turkey, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Egypt, Qatar, and Jordan, which is not only bilateral, also intended to conduct in-depth consultations regarding the geopolitical situation and humanitarian conditions in Palestine.
