French Journalists In Support Of Palestinian Journalists Killed In Gaza - Paris
French journalists wear vests marked "Press" during a demonstration in support of Palestinian journalists, held in front of Place de la Bastille in Paris. Nearly 200 Palestinian journalists have been killed in Israeli bombings in the Gaza Strip over the past 18 months. In response, a collective of French professional organisations defending journalists and press freedom has signed an open letter denouncing the attacks on the profession and the media blackout they claim Israel is imposing.
