Protesters blocked Rustaveli Avenue in central Tbilisi on Monday, April 21 after two protesters were detained by police on the same street the previous night for allegedly disobeying their orders. The protests in Georgia initially erupted in November 2024 following the government’s decision to halt the country’s EU integration until 2028.
