Costa Rica: Poás Volcano Eruption Spews High Ash Column

The Poás volcano, one of Costa Rica's tourist attractions, erupted on Monday, April 21, spewing ash and smoke over 2,000 meters above the crater, the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica (OVSICORI) reported.
