US: Arrests Made as Anti-LGBTQ Group Clash With Counter-Protesters Outside Seattle City Hall 2
Multiple arrests were made during clashes outside Seattle City Hall on Tuesday, May 27, between anto-LGBTQ+ activists and counter-protesters. The confrontations occurred following a similar incident with 23 arrests on Saturday in Cal Anderson Park.
Mayday USA, a Christian ultra-conservative evangelical group against transgender rights, was calling for Mayor Bruce Harrell's resignation after he labeled them "extreme right-wing" antagonists.
