Royal Visit To Guadalupe
King Felipe VI greets the locals upon his arrival at the Town Hall of Guadalupe, on May 28, 2025, in Guadalupe, Cáceres, Extremadura (Spain). After the visit to the Town Hall, the King and Queen of Spain will visit the Royal Monastery of Santa María de Guadalupe. Guadalupe was declared a Historic-Artistic Site and World Heritage Site in 1993, and the Royal Monastery of Our Lady of Guadalupe has been "witness to decisive moments" in the history of Spain, such as the audience in which the Catholic Monarchs offered the caravels to Columbus.
