Figure skating: 3-time world champ Sakamoto to retire after Olympics

Japanese figure skater Kaori Sakamoto, winner of three consecutive world championships through 2024, meets the press in Kobe, western Japan, on June 20, 2025. The 25-year-old said she will retire from competition after the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.
