Moyers Holds Note Following LBJ Surgery
White House Press Secretary Bill Moyers holds a note written by fUnited States President Lyndon B Johnson as he awoke from anesthesia following his throat and abdominal surgery on November 16, 1966 in Washington, DC. The lightly written note to the doctors asked them to “tell me something, thank you.’” The polyp that was removed from the President’s vocal cord was benign.
