Pope Leo XIV visits a Retirement home for women in Castel Gandolfo, Italy on July 21, 2025. As his summer holidays continue in Castel Gandolfo, the hilltop town near Rome, Pope Leo XIV visits residents and religious sisters at the ‘Santa Marta’ home for the elderly in the Alban hills, offering words of comfort and encouragement. The Pontiff took time to personally greet each of the twenty elderly women living in the home, all aged between 80 and 101.
