Nobel Prize in medicine winner Sakaguchi

The Nobel Assembly at the Karolinska Institute announces at a press conference in Stockholm on Oct. 6, 2025, that the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine has been awarded to Shimon Sakaguchi of Japan, and Mary E. Brunkow and Fred Ramsdell of the United States for their "groundbreaking" discoveries on how the immune system is kept in check.
