A nor'easter moved up the East Coast on Sunday, October 12, causing widespread disruption across the densely populated Northeast with excessive rain, strong winds, and coastal flooding. The storm resulted in road washouts and air travel delays. Due to the severe conditions, the entire state of New Jersey has been under a state of emergency since Saturday night, October 11, a condition expected to continue into Monday, October 13.
