Thousands Protest Syrian Army Attacks in Diyarbakir - Turkey

Women hold a banner reading ‘Rojava cannot be subdued.’ In Diyarbakir, thousands of people protested the Syrian Army’s attacks on the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh neighborhoods, which are predominantly populated by Kurds. The demonstration, organized following a call by the Democratic Institutions Platform, demanded an immediate halt to the attacks against Kurds and called on the international community and human rights organizations to take action.
