Canada: Tornado Touches Down in Saskatchewan as Devastating Storms Batter Region 2
Devastating thunderstorms, including at least one reported tornado, tore through southeastern Saskatchewan on Tuesday night, June 9, causing significant damage in the Oxbow area. Environment Canada said golf ball-sized hail struck the Regina area, while wind gusts of up to 85 km/h were reported near Estevan and Yorkton.
Footage shared on social meda shows what appears to be a cone-shaped funnel cloud and a tornado touching down near Oxbow.
