Japan: Typhoon Bavi Approaches Okinawa, Rough Seas Hit Pacific Coast

Typhoon Bavi was approaching Okinawa on Friday, July 10, engulfing the region in strong winds, with storm warnings issued across the Sakishima Islands, including Miyako and Ishigaki islands. The typhoon was forecast to pass near the region through Saturday, while swells from the storm caused high surf along Pacific coastal areas further north. This video shows rough seas crashing along the coast of Hachijojima.
