South Korea: Torrential Rain Triggers Deadly Landslide, Flooding in Geoje 2

Heavy rain fell across the Geoje area, South Gyeongsang, and continued into Monday, August 17, triggering a landslide in the early hours of Monday that killed at least one person. Power outages also knocked out electricity to about 1,500 homes and businesses in Ilun-myeon, Gohyeon-dong and Jangseungpo-dong.
