Honda Super Cub output exceeds 50 mil. units

TOKYO, Japan - Honda Motor Co. said on Feb. 8 its 50 cc Super Cub motorcycle (in handout photo) became the world's first motor vehicle to achieve a global production milestone of 50 million units at the end of 2005. Production totaled 50,178,947 units 47 years after its launch in Japan in 1958, Honda said.
