Recap: American Airlines Flight Catches Fire at Denver Airport

American Airlines flight 1006 caught fire at Denver International Airport on Thursday, March 13, forcing passengers to evacuate. The Boeing 737-800, carrying 178 people from Colorado Springs Airport to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, made an emergency landing at the Colorado airport due to what appeared to be an engine issue.
