TOKYO, Japan - A malfunction prevents transactions by customers using cash cards issued by former Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi branches at automated teller machines at Seven Bank in Tokyo's Marunouchi district on May 12. The trouble occurred as the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ introduced a new computer system integrating the computer systems of its founder banks -- the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and UFJ Bank -- at some of its branches the same day.
