TOKYO, Japan - Nobuyuki Hirano (R), deputy president of the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, and Katsunori Nagayasu, its president, hold a press conference in Tokyo on Jan. 30, 2012. The leading Japanese bank said the same day that Hirano will be promoted to president on April 1, replacing Nagayasu, who will become chairman.
